Mr. Brightside; By: The Killers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGdGFtwCNBE

The people in this video are shown wearing fancy attire, portraying wealth. The video also begins with them all sitting down showing that they are bored. The video is showing resemblance to an actual relationship. The man smiles to the girl showing interest, and then is seen spying behind a curtain portraying his jealousy or mistrust of this girl, who seems to be interested in another man(the lead singer). Women are then shown getting up and dancing for the men explaining how mesmerized men can be by the looks of women. The audience of this video might be more of people who are in relationships or those who either get chased by the opposite sex or those who want to be noticed by the opposite sex.

Pepsi Live For Now:
Young Adults who look healthy and athletic. Pepsi is shown as a social drink.
They are using the sugar issue to their advantage. If you're active and don't drink Pepsi in excessive amounts, then enjoy it when you do drink it. Live for the moment, and just do what makes you happy. The commercials target younger people who would agree with the idea of not acknowledging certain rules.
They are using bright colors and fun music.

I sit on my cold hard chair, staring at the clock praying for it to simply stop. I always dread this time of day; I would have to leave the one place where my only worry was my education. I hear my classmates excited about the end of the school day, and their plans that evening; why couldn’t that be me? I longed for that feeling of going home to family that was happy to see me. As I exited the main doors of my elementary school, I decided that home could wait and that a quick visit to my grandparent’s house would be my big plans for the night. My mother’s siblings who still resided there would ask about my day; and grandpa loved hearing all the new things I learned. He had sympathy for me, they all did. Along with the sun that began to fall, my fears started to drift away; and all that was on my mind was the delicious smells coming from the kitchen. Here was the place where I felt apart of a family, we would all unwind together in the living room after our long days, and would all sit down to a peaceful family dinner. But most of the time, my nights ended the same way. As I got comfortable on my grandparents sofa or just about anywhere, and the house was calm, there would be a harsh knock coming from the front door. My heart would drop as fast as I could blink, my eyes would widen, and my breathing increased. My calm, peaceful night was about to turn ugly.
As the door swung open to reveal the incoming guest, I would not be surprised just felt
This homecoming weekend, I spent everyday with my sisters of Delta Gamma.

As I throw wrap the straps of my multiple bags around my body and walk up to the garage door and push the key code into the opener, and as the door rises there he is. He would greet me nonchalantly and return back to his project he had randomly assigned himself. He is a middle aged man with thinning hair that is beginning to gray. I watch him in is worn out clothes reattaching the parts of his car so gently it's as if it is a newborn baby. I have always viewed him as a very materialistic man who has always taken pride in the three black, shiny vehicles that are parked in our garage. His most expensive prized possession is parked in the third bay farthest from the entrance into my house, where the rest of my family expresses relief as we can stretch out on the couch and talk about things that are secrets to this tense opinionated man. As he enters the house in search of something we quickly change the topic of discussion.

Positive things in video:
The girls are portrayed as "good girls"

Narrative:

As the music video is finalized and I watch it over and over, all I can think about is how I have accomplished my goal. The moment I saw Robin Thicke appear on MTV in a music video, I fell in love. I then decided that I would dedicate my life to try and be in one of his videos.
